The game will be played on Tuesday, March 20th @ 7:00 pm at the College Park Baptist Church Gym (Edgewater Dr.). Register for Signing Times Playgroup starting Jan. 17

DSACF will be hosting a 6-week playgroup for parents and child, led by certified speech and language pathologist Kimberly Fries. The group will meet weekly on Tuesday mornings, 10-11am, Jan. 17-Feb. 21, 2012. Registration is required by Jan. 10 please.) This is ideal for infants, toddlers and preschoolers and is a great way to supplement your little one’s early interventions while learning how to use American Sign Language during play and your daily routines. With more and more advanced prenatal testing and with the advent of new non-invasive blood testing from Sequenom available soon, more mothers than ever before are receiving their diagnosis in the first few months of pregancy. DSACF is proud to link to the new virtual support site for these families at DownSyndromePregnancy.org. This site offers a blog, discussion board, ebook on every aspect of pregancy through delivery, conference call group support, one-on-one email support and referrals to in-person support. The e-book has been medically reviewed by leaders in Down syndrome, perinatology, cardiology and genetic counseling.
