On Tuesday, Feb. 18, PRWeb went live with an article about a recent and generous donation from a soldier who won a Gold’s Gym Dr. Phillips contest. The soldier, along with Gold’s Gym and TAG Business Strategies, donated checks and a 60-inch television to benefit the programs and offerings of the DSACF’s Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome (DADS) community group. Unfortunately, the press release used the incorrect name in the headline and body of the story, referring to the group as Dads Against Down Syndrome. DSACF is working actively with representatives from TAG and Gold’s Gym Dr. Phillips to issue a corrected press release and has also already been in contact with DADS National. DSACF is committed to all individuals with Down syndrome and believe strongly in their value to our families and society. Words DO matter. We apologize for any confusion.
