Who Are We?
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida is a not-for-profit association founded in 1991 for parents of children with Down syndrome. It has grown from a few families to over 1,100 individuals with DS and their families.
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida is committed to celebrating and supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We constantly strive to deliver helpful resources, opportunities for growth and enrichment, and awareness to build and bolster our community.
We're a dedicated group of professionals, volunteers, family members, and more working to embrace our loved ones with Down syndrome and better supply means for education, awareness, and more. We serve families in an area of 10+ counties, and over 50% of our board members have family members with Down syndrome. View our staff.
